The book of Acts records the first steps of God’s people after Jesus ascended back into heaven. You observe this new church stand on wobbly legs and then explode into the first century culture, planting church after church in the cities of the Roman world. It records one of most powerful movements in all human history.
Join us for a sermon series that looks at this movement that we call “The Church”. What does it mean to be a church in a culture where the church’s influence is diminishing? What is it that makes the church different than any other institution in the world? And, what does it mean for us to be the church in this time and in this place?
