Do you struggle to connect with the kids in your life? Do you want to know more about how you can better love and serve children who have difficult relationships or distressing experiences as part of their history? Are you or someone you know impacted by adoption or foster care? Join us on April 5-6 at City Church for the Empowered to Connect Conference simulcast to get practical teaching in a safe and supportive community and feel more equipped as a family, church, and/or professional to meet the needs of the kids in our lives who’ve experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.
Featuring Trust-Based Relational Intervention® methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development, this conference helps bring attachment and connection in families. Empowered to Connect is a conference presented by Show Hope and the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development.
This conference runs from 10am -6pm on Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturday. This includes a lunch break each day.
