The Scriptures present us with a God who is transcendent. He is “above” and “other.” He is shrouded in power, mystery, and holiness. And yet, the miracle of the Christmas story is “Immanuel,” God with us! The transcendent God is also a personal God. He cares intimately about his people.

To encounter God is not simply experiencing a new tradition, a new ethic, a new morality, or even a new habit. An encounter with God is personal. Join us as we explore the personal touch of Jesus in the lives of a few individuals in the Gospels.
